Florence - Siena Tour
This 12 hours tour starts from your hotel, after 3 hours driving we'll be in Florence the arts capital founded by Julius Caesar. Florence, situated on both banks of the Arno River enriched by the Medici Family during the middle age, has almost never changed. It is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance, and has been called "the Athens of the Middle Ages.
Your first stop would be the world-famous Accademia Gallery (Gallerie dell'Accademia ), home to Michelangelo's original David sculpture. Then you will visit other attractions like Florence Duomo (Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore) then admire Giotto's Bell Tower – another Renaissance masterpiece, Piazza del campo. Walking by the narrow streets full of pretty shops you can relive the unforgettable sensations of the medieval Florence and the legacy of the Medici family.
Then next stop is Siena, situated in Tuscany, most renowned for its food, art, museums and medieval cityscape. You can visit the awe-inspiring churches of Siena, SanDomenico which treasures the relics St. Catherine of Siena, Piazza Salimbeni and Piazza del Campo, the most famous squares in Italy where a horse race is held twice a year known as Palio. You can either choose to visit Florence the whole day or Florence and Siena for a day.
Note: On request we can also provide the reservations to the Accademia gallery and the Uffizi gallery. It is also possible to drive to the outlet which is one of the most beautiful in Italy (Gucci, Prada, Cavalli,Fendi and more).
