VATICAN CITY TOUR

This is your private tour in the Vatican museum and St. Peter's Basilica, the greatest of all churches of Christendom. Your English speaking guide will be there at the hotel or a place of your choice who will take you to Sistine Chapel, the palace embellished by the Renaissance time frescoes and Raphael rooms where you can admire the beautiful Michelangelo's last judgment frescoes. There are 54 galleries, or salas, in total, with the Sistine Chapel, notably, being the very last sala within the Museum.

Carry on a short walk you will arrive to St Peter's Basilica, with his marvelous Michelangelo's Pietà, this famous work of art depicts the body of Jesus on the lap of his mother Mary after the Crucifixion. Bernini's astonishing and rich Baldacchino, an enormous bronze canopy and the tombs of the Popes. At the end of the tour your English speaking driver will drive you back to your hotel or any other places of your preference.

NOTE: Please dress respectfully to visit the holy buildings: cover your knees and shoulders. Tour includes entrance fees, licensed guide and round trip.
