ROMAN HILLS

A splendid 4 hours tour around the Alban hills situated 30 minutes from Rome. The area is full of vineyards and aristocratic villas like the Pope's summer residence built on top of the spectacular lake Castel Gandolfo.

The visit continues in Frascati which is the main producer of the famous white Frascati wine "DOC Superiore" (is possible to have tasting in a farm on request). Arriving on the main square in Frascati, there is a beautiful view of Rome, we'll visit the gardens of the 16th century Aldobrandini Family's villa which is known as Belvedere for its charming location overlooking the valley toward the city of Rome. A noted feature of the garden is the Teatro delle Acqua ("Water Theater")
